Our flagship. From the finest grapes of the most traditional grape varieties of Upper Douro, with emphasis on Touriga Nacional, comes a complex and profound wine of great longevity and prestige. Schist vineyards at altitude, rain-fed, in organic production mode.

Nose: Dark red color. Very intense and profound. Earthy notes, wild berries and black cherries, with hints of licorice and chocolate, complexed by the toasted notes of new French oak.

Palate: Concentrated, with firm tannins and smooth texture. Malolactic fermentation, carried out partially in barrel, imparts extra aromatic complexity. Very intense, long, and persistent finish.

Aging: 12 months in new French oak barrels.

Cellaring: 15 years or more, bottles stored horizontally.

Serving: 16–17°C. Pairs with aged meats, game, and dishes in sauce. Portuguese soft-paste cheeses, such as Serra da Estrela or Azeitão. At the end of the meal, it compares to a fine Vintage Port.
